Do not trust in nobles,
in man, who cannot save. - Proverbs 146:3
As I discuss political matters, I have to be mindful of how I support a candidate. Do I imply that Romney is someone we can trust? Because I do not think that there is any man in leadership that I can truly trust. I can only put my hope and trust in God to work through these individuals to accomplish His purpose. I apologize to all if I have given the opposite impression. Whatever our political differences may be, I still welcome you to our blog and hope that we can have a good discussion on these issues. Sometimes you’ll see me get a bit agitated by the current state of our government. If I attack Obama, it’s not just because I think he’s the source of all our problems but simply because he happens to be the one in power right now. Republicans that have betrayed their own principles are the worst of them all. Fortunately, Christianity is not about one party and it never was. It does have a great impact on our political views, but it’s not as if you need to register republican to be saved. We’re all flawed and we’re all sinners. I used to be blind, stupid, and ignorant (in some ways, I still am) but now I see. Christ saved me and He can save you. Don’t think the government could for a second replace that.

Amen my friend, Amen
And my apologies if I came on too strong in the other thread. I let myself get agitated, and certainly never meant to imply you are dishonest or an extremist etc.

And plead my title; Noman is my name.
By that distinguish’d from my tender years,
‘Tis what my parents call me, and my peers.”

“Friends, Noman kills me; Noman in the hour
Of sleep, oppresses me with fraudful power.”
“If no man hurt thee, but the hand divine
Inflict disease, it fits thee to resign:
To Jove or to thy father Neptune pray.”
The brethren cried, and instant strode away.

There’s a point somewhere in this, but I’m not quite sure what it is.
